In some points i am agree with you BUT: Even all idea of being someone else than your real me is not acceptable for most of the serious men of our period, in all times , people tried to escape themselves from a so hard reality to find something more "livable"....Being always concrete is a way than humans can not support in a long time life: They need to dream, that s why we made planes, that we tried to go in space etc.. No logic in there, just a way to use logic to find more than nature perhaps could not give us. Virtual worlds has now the ability to make us dream in a good way: Avatar, the film, only shows us that beside technology and reason there's a little thing in himans that never could be "logical" or "natural", against all the animal way: The ability to dream! Just let's dream and let's stop searching reasons against us. Someone says: " A man who stop to dream begin to die"...
Yours
Sam
