The announcer refused to use text as a communication tool, and had his microphone turned on the whole time ... He did have a good go at giving a sort of running commentary, but then after the race there was a half hour where we listened to him typing and breathing into the microphone, without any response or any inclincation of what was actually going on... I think the majority of folks where standing around in IM, waiting for something to happen. Very unclear , and confusing... While it's a good start, let's hope they can better that next year..
