Please correct me if I am wrong, but Chris' answer sounded a little evasive to me, a bit like a boxing promoter justifying why his champion was just knocked out... I know that Second Life is going in the right direction in terms of 3Dweb (yes, let me coin that term here and now), but I just don't see it there yet. Many of my friends and colleagues have joined the community and then left it again due to usability frustrations. Therefore, no surprise that numbers are low: by the way, not only Australian numbers, I find the global community itself tiny, too. I am a dedicated World of Warcraft player, and there are 8 million of us, all actively playing. Hopefully, Linden Lab can get their acts together and fix the poor performance, otherwise I don't see it going the distance.
